We are moving!
When the tank is setup again, we’ll update you.
To many people floating is a completely new concept, but it’s been around for decades. Floating is a way of achieving deep relaxation by lying quietly in the darkness in warm water loaded with Epsom salt so that you float on top of the water effortlessly. Float tanks are also known as isolation tanks or sensory deprivation tanks.

What do I bring?
We provide everything you need. We have body wash, shampoo, towels and ear plugs. When you book, we’ll send you a detailed email with some tips and advice. Make sure you read it!
What happens after I float?
Afterwards, you’ll hop out of the tank, have a shower and then come and chill out in our relaxation room. Enjoy feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, and we’ll supply some tea for you to enjoy. We have a book you can write all about your experience in. If you’re feeling creative, you can draw in the book, or do some colouring in. You can relax in peace, or chat to us if you like. Your choice.
How long is a float?
We offer a variety of float times.
20mins, 60mins, 1.5hrs, 2hrs and 3hrs
Can I drown if I fall asleep?
Certainly not. Some people do fall asleep, but there is so much salt in the water that you’ll stay afloat. You’re in the water, not on a mattress, so there are no pressure points. That means your body won’t feel any urge to roll over. Floating can be like a power nap with the benefits of a full night’s sleep for some people.
What if I’m claustrophobic?
Don’t worry, it’s not like a freaky MRI machine that makes people panic.
When you’re in there, because the tank is a shimmery deep blue, it’s kinda like outer space. There’s a light inside the tank that YOU control. There’s no latches or locks, the door just slides open. You can step out anytime you like, or open the door a little. We’re happy to answer any questions you have if you feel a little nervous. We’re here to make it a beautifully relaxing experience for you.
How do you keep the tank clean?
This is super important to us, especially because we float too. We filter the tank after every single use, and we keep it totally sanitised. The water is a highly salty (saline) solution and it doesn’t support parasitic, fungal, or bacterial life.
How do I book?
All of our bookings are made online. This ensures you get a confirmation email with all the info you need, plus reminder emails.
If you’re not sure how long you should float for, send us an email. For some people, their first float is like an experiment, and then they really see the relaxation benefits in their second float, and beyond. It’s ok whether this happens for you, or not.
