3 years ago today, I landed in Bali. I was about to spend a few nights with Tash Corbin and Honest Dave, after winning a lip sync competitionLet me tell you that the lip sync video was not easy. I was nervous. It certainly wasn’t perfect. It was scary.

I did it anyway.

And I won.

People say to me all the time that they are envious of me, amazed at what opportunities I get, astounded at how my life is filled with celebrations. Presenting a workshop in Tuscany, being in a magazine, being in a book and just today – invited to speak on a radio show.

I love my life. And I know that I am the one who creates it. And what I want you to know is that it’s not because I don’t ever feel fear. I’m not emotionally numb. It’s because I know how to work WITH fear, meet it and use it to fuel my inner fire. I’ve mastered how to ensure that fear doesn’t ever stop me. And that takes courage.

I’ve got loads of stories about how I’ve worked with my fear and had amazing outcomes. It’s the willingness that gives me the amazing results. If you don’t work with fear, it will cripple you. And when your fear cripples you – you cannot step into new and exciting opportunities. Not only will you not see what opportunities are on the other side of the door, but you won’t even get close enough to the door to even smell the possibilities. In fact, the opportunities don’t even bother to knock.

If you want to get a taste, touch, smell, sound or glimpse of the possibilities waiting for you, you must be willing to meet your fear.

It’s time to get out of your own way.
