I acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Country upon which I live, work, and play - the Gimuy, Walubarra, Yidinji, and Yirrganydji people. I recognise your unshakable connection to Cairns, the tablelands, the rainforest and the reef in this incredibly beautiful part of the world. I pay my respects to Elders across time; your leadership is inspiring. I am grateful for your ongoing custodianship, and I recognise that sovereignty was never ceded. I am committed to listening to and learning from the Aboriginal community and being an active ally. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
